Excerpt from Justin’s notes:    Sages tend to be rather easy to spot due to their grimoires.  While there are magi that can use books to aid them with their spells and aren’t Sages, such books (referred to as “tomes”) must be made and require various enchantments to even come close to what grimoires are capable of.  What’s more, both aren’t limited to simply being books.
